Phil Nelsen

Phil is the Senior Vice President of U.S. LawShield, a nationally recognized firearm law attorney, and the founder of Legal Heat. A firearm instructor certified to teach in over 30 states, Phil has written several books on firearm, concealed carry and self-defense laws. Phil brings a rare 360-degree perspective to the legal realities of self-defense cases, having served as an expert witness, a prosecutor and a defense attorney. At U.S. LawShield, Phil has led the charge on the development of the Concealed Carry Instructor Credential (CCIC), and is proud to be part of a team that provides legal protection to hundreds of thousands of responsibly armed Americans.
